My husband says that I have finally found a hobby =)
For about a 2 years and half now I have been playing with fondant, sugar and flour.
I grew up in Slovakia and it was a tradition to have a cake or a dessert on Sunday afternoon. I watched my mamka make various different cakes, cookies and I guess that is where my passion cames from .
I still call my mom with questions, or if I need a recipe that I can't remember. She is awesome and I thank her very much for baking so much.
Slovak baking and cooking books are full of wonderful and tasty cakes and desserts, and I almost wish there was enough time to make them all. You are right, not possible, but I'm trying. You can ask my hubby or my son and of course our friends =) they get to try most of them.
